Symptoms commonly seen in non dominant parietal lobe dysfunction include:-

  • Anosognosia (inability to recognise one's own illness)
  • Hemisomatognosia (neglect of half the body)
  • Dressing apraxia
  • Constructional dyspraxia
  • Geographical agnosia
  • Allesthesia

Agraphia is a symptom seen in Gerstmann's syndrome which is caused by dysfunction of the dominant parietal lobe.
