Pronator drift
Pronator drift is a sign seen during a neurological examination.
To elicit the sign the patient is asked to forward flex the arms 90 degrees to the shoulders, supinate the forearms, close their eyes, and hold the position. Normally the position should remain the same. In certain cases one arm will be seen to pronate.
There are various causes of pronator drift. Just learn that it is caused by an upper motor neurone lesion.
