Schizophrenia (Duration of treatment)


Whilst not making any direct reccomendation on duration of treatment in schizophrenia the NICE guidelines suggest warning the patient of the following:-

  • Inform the service user that there is a high risk of relapse if they stop medication in the next 1-2 years.
