Sedatives (liver disease)
Most sedatives undergo extensive hepatic metabolism. The Maudsley Guidelines suggest using the following in the setting of hepatic impairment (but emphasise that low doses should be used).
- Lorazepam
- Oxazepam
- Temazepam
- Zopiclone
